Risk Disclosure

Effective 23 October 2026

Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before RevenShield is offered to the public.

Please read this before you rely on RevenShield. It explains the risks of trading and the limits of what our protection can do.

1. Trading carries a high level of risk

Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference (CFDs), futures, cryptocurrencies and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money quickly. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Depending on your broker and account, you can lose more than your deposit.

Only trade with money you can afford to lose, make sure you understand the products you trade, and seek independent advice if you are unsure.

2. Not financial advice

RevenShield is a behaviour and self-discipline tool. Nothing in the Service, including coaching, statistics, examples and articles, is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Past results, including your own, do not predict future results. Figures shown on our website are illustrations.

3. What the protection can do

When an account breaks a rule you set, RevenShield starts a cooldown and pauses that account’s trading websites in the browsers and devices you protect. Its purpose is to interrupt impulsive decisions such as revenge trading. It is a support for your own discipline, not a replacement for it.

4. What the protection cannot do

  • It does not block your broker. Your broker is not contacted. Orders can still be placed from unprotected browsers, other devices or the platform’s own apps.
  • It does not close positions. Open positions stay open during a cooldown. Stop-loss and take-profit orders you placed earlier still work.
  • It counts closed trades only. Floating losses on open positions are not counted. A prop firm that counts them can see a breach while RevenShield still shows room left.
  • It depends on platform data. Results are read from the platform a few seconds after a trade closes. Delays, outages or changes at the platform can delay a cooldown or stop it from starting.
  • It can be switched off. A browser extension can be removed or disabled. The optional Windows Lockdown mode makes this harder, not impossible.

5. Prop firm and broker rules

Your broker’s or prop firm’s own rules (for example daily drawdown, consistency or news rules) are separate from the rules you set in RevenShield, may be calculated differently, and always take precedence. A cooldown in RevenShield does not mean you are within their limits. Check that their rules allow third-party tools to read your account.

6. Your responsibility

You remain fully responsible for every trading decision and its result, whether or not RevenShield was active at the time. By using the Service you confirm that you understand these risks.
